ISO Awareness Training Courses:
Each of the executive briefing courses below introduces
all company employees, including management, to the
implications of a particular ISO Standard. This introductory
description of the ISO process for implementing a
quality management system with its intent and benefits
lessens the uncertainty and apprehension that accompany
such a large-scale organizational and cultural change.
All courses are taught by a RAB-QMS, Lead Auditor
certified instructor with experience auditing and
implementing in the applicable industry. 8 hours per

Transition
Learn the difference between prior Standards and your
current targeted Standard while focusing on process
auditing. Each training course focuses on one of the

ISO Internal
Auditor Training courses:
Learn essential auditing skills and how to help your
company audit against the industry’s ISO Standard.
A mock audit is included. All ISO Internal Auditor
training courses are taught by a RAB-QMS Lead Auditor
certified instructor with experience auditing and
implementing in the applicable industry. You must
have a copy of the appropriate ISO standard with you
for these classes. 24 hours per course

Safety/OSHA
Training
Bloodborne Pathogens
Course meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1030 for
initial and annual training required for employees potentially
exposed to bloodborne pathogens. The course includes
information on the manner of contracting diseases from
blood and other potentially infectious materials, and
the means for employees to protect themselves. 3 hours

Emergency
Action Plans (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.38)
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.38 requires that employers (with more
than 10 employees) review with each employee upon initial
assignment those parts of the employer’s plan
which the employee must know to protect themselves in
the event of an emergency. This course introduces the
elements of writing and implementing a successful emergency
action plan. While each plan needs to be specific to
the individual workplace, this class emphasizes those
common ideas that lead to a successful program, including
Terrorism Awareness and Fire Prevention Plans. 2 hours

Ergonomics Awareness
This course takes a fresh look at the prevention of
repetitive motion injuries and back injuries at and
away from work. Participants learn how the back functions,
how to recognize potentially harmful conditions and
how to have a healthy back. They also learn how to
properly set up a work-station – proper monitor
and key board height, etc. Concentrating on the importance
of ergonomics and proper mechanics, participants learn
proper lift, push, pull and carry techniques. Recommended
stretching techniques are also included. 3 hours

Hazard Communication
This course meets the training requirements of 29
CFR 1910.1200, for all employees who are potentially
exposed to hazardous materials. The course gives an
understanding of different types of hazards, and the
means used by personnel to protect their health and
safety. Students will be able to obtain and understand
information on the chemicals with which they work.
Material Safety Data Sheets are explained in clear
and understandable language. 4 hours

Laboratory
Standards
Course meets the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1450,
for personnel working in a laboratory who are potentially
exposed to hazardous materials. The course gives an
understanding of different types of hazards, and the
means used by personnel to protect their health and
safety. Students will be able to obtain and understand
information on the chemicals with which they work.
Material Safety Data Sheets are explained in clear
and understandable language. Special attention is
given to the unique hazards encountered in laboratories
and the work practices needed. 4 hours

Lockout/Tagout
This course meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.147
- Control of Hazardous Energy. Students will understand
the need for the lockout/tagout program, how to implement
the procedures, and the ongoing program requirements.

Permit-Required
Confined Space Entry
This course meets the classroom training requirements
of 29 CFR 1910.146 for all employees who supervise
or enter confined spaces. Students will be able to
identify permit-required confined spaces, recognize
and evaluate their hazards, select the appropriate
personal protective equipment for entry, identify
appropriate techniques for isolation and control of
hazards, and issue entry permits. 8 hours
