C++
Course emphasis is on the syntax and constructs of C++. Content covers differences between C and C++ object oriented programming concepts, building class objects, inheritance, overloading functions, references and constants. 20 hours

Introduction to Fundamentals of Information Security
Presents an overview of basic information regarding security concepts, secure communications, Operating System Security, and terminology specific to the field of information security. Security goals of availability, integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality are discussed. 20 hours

Programming Fundamentals
Course introduces the fundamental concepts of computer programming. Instruction includes structured top-down programming, modular design, data types, logic, analysis and definition of problems, solution algorithms using pseudo-code, and an introduction to actual programming. 20 hours

HTML
Provides a walk-through of basic Web Page development and publishing. Topics include Text Formatting, Links, Color, Images, Tables, and Frames. 20 hours

Internet Essentials
Course provides an overview of the Internet, focusing on eCommerce concepts. HTML, Architecture, Marketing, and Database concepts are included. 20 hours

Java
Covers the basics of JAVA programming. Course content includes encapsulation, classification, polymorphism, and inheritance concepts. Topics include OOP syntax, arrays in JAVA, creating constructors, JAVA classes, virtual methods and JAVA inheritance. 20 hours

JavaScript
Covers the basic concepts of client side programming. Topics include: Variables, Functions, Parameters, Browser Detection, Rollovers, Window Manipulation, and Forms. 20 hours

Introduction to SQL
Course includes relational database management, concepts, hierarchical models, network models, relational models, table merging, relational capabilities, report generation, security features, data file transfer, graphics support and macro commands.
Students will identify differences in various data models; generate reports based on complex queries; implement security features; and write macros to automate database management tasks. 20 hours

Introduction to Visio
Participants will use Visio drawing tools to create shapes, import CAD drawings, and export Visio drawings to other file formats. Course will also cover adding hyperlinks to shapes, pages, and customizing tool-bars and toolbar options. 20 hours

Introduction to Desktop Publishing
Course presents desktop publishing terminology and provides instruction in text editing, graphics and layout techniques in the use of design principles to create publishing material using word processing desktop publishing features. 20 hours

Desktop Publishing II
Course is a continuation of Introduction to Desktop Publishing. Emphasis is on layout techniques, graphics and multiple-page displays. Prerequisite: Introduction to Desktop Publishing. 20 hours

Introduction to XML
Participants will learn the syntax and schemas of XML, validating documents and creating document type definitions, and manipulating the document object model. Selected XML tools will be introduced. More technical and in-depth uses of HTML and the Internet in business will be discussed. 20 hours

XML, Intemediate
A continuation of Introduction to XML. Further instruction and expanded practice in using XML tools for the Internet and in business. Prerequisite: Introduction to XML. 20 hours
