North Lake College Offers New Electronics Program to Spanish-Speaking Students

IRVING, Texas. Nov. 29, 2000 - For the first time, North Lake College is offering an electronics certificate program designed for Spanish-speaking students this spring semester. Students will not only acquire English conversational and comprehension skills, but will learn the basics of Electronics Technology.

There are many career choices in the electronics technology industry. Students will develop the necessary proficiency in English in addition to technical expertise to acquire marketable skills in this fast-growing industry.

The Certificado de Plataforma Técnica en Electrónica begins with the college's spring semester, starting on January 16, and extends through the summer and next fall, ending on December 13, 2001.
