Rome Studies Program Exhibit

IRVING, Texas. February 26, 2001-Photography, ceramics and other media from students in the North Lake College Rome Studies Program 2000 is on display in the lower gallery at North Lake College until March 9. The exhibit - "An Italian Excursion" - showcases the student's work, especially photography, from this unique study abroad program.

The school's Rome Studies Program includes innovative, individual study and interdisciplinary approaches to learning about the region's arts, literature and history. As part of the program, students of all ages live and study at North Lake's Italian campus in a village near Rome. The program includes six weeks abroad in September and October and some preparatory and follow-up work at the North Lake campus.
