SCORE Comes to North Lake College South Campus

IRVING – Need some professional advice about a small business venture? SCORE counselors will be available to assist small businesses with counseling and training for success at the North Lake College South Campus beginning Thursday, Sept. 17.

SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is comprised of senior business executives, both retired and active, who share their experience and expertise in individual sessions with business owners. This new offering is presented by the Business Resource Center at the North Lake College South Campus in coordination with the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce.

SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SCORE is headquartered in Herndon, Va., and Washington, DC, and has 370 chapters throughout the United States and its territories, with 11,200 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors. SCORE was founded in 1964. SCORE is America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs.
