Biannual concert puts students in the limelight
IRVING, Texas- The North Lake College (NLC) Fall Dance Concert will run November 15-16, 2012 in the Central Campus Performance Hall. Both shows begin at 7 p.m. and are free to the public.
From ballet and jazz to hip hop, the Fall Dance Concert highlights the diverse forms of dance explored by the college. In fact, the concert includes 15 unique numbers, each beautifully choreographed and polished by Dance Department Coordinator Brenda Parker-Braswell and Adjunct Dance Faculty Betsy Compton. Audience members can expect to leave the show with a grin on their faces and a bounce in their step.
North Lake College encourages the community to come enjoy the show, but to also join in the fun by signing up for spring classes. Beginning to advanced level dance courses often fill quickly as adult students of all ages consider expression in the studio. Registration for new students begins November 26, 2012.
