Local Leaders Speak at North Lake

Government Leadership Seminars Underway
IRVING- Open to the public, North Lake College’s Fall Government Leadership Seminars are underway in Irving. Meeting in Central Campus room A-347, the seminars allow students and visitors to hear from local governments officials in a small classroom setting. The series runs throughout the fall months of September through November.
Brainchild of Government Professor Dr. Gabriel Bach, the biannual event has become a tradition at North Lake, and with the upcoming national elections, students are excited. Upcoming speakers include Executive Director of Irving Cares, Inc., Teddie Story, Irving City Councilman Dennis Webb, Irving City Councilman Thomas Spink, President of Baylor Medical Center Cindy Schamp and Mayor of Coppell Karen Hunt.
