Career-Focused Events Prepare Students for Real-World Jobs

North Lake College to Host Career Fair
North Lake College Job Fair 2014
IRVING, Texas- On Tuesday, March 18, North Lake College (NLC) will host two career-focused events for students and the community: a career fair and a financial empowerment fair. Hosted in the Student Life Center of NLC Central Campus, both events will help attendees gain real-world information about college majors, career options, and financial planning. A $250 scholarship drawing will be held hourly.
In room H-226, the “Major Career Affair” will include two panels of eleven career professionals. Hosted by NLC Career Services, these special panel discussions foster logical thinking and highlight the multi-dimensionality of the career world.
