We are here to help.

Times change and jobs come and go, but our job remains the same – to stay ahead of the game so we can give you the best education and training to land the job you want and to help you grow as your career evolves.

Get the education you need at a price you can afford.

Whether you want a recognized industry certification, an associate degree or training to meet continuing education requirements, North Lake offers competitive prices. If you need help with tuition, various funding sources are available, including grants, scholarships, work/study programs, and student loans. Contact the Financial Aid office for more information.

The North Lake Accounting Program gives you a well-balanced introduction to the field of accounting and can provide the initial pathway toward a professional career. If you continue your education and earn a bachelor’s degree, you will be prepared to pursue your license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Jobs for bookkeepers and accounting clerks are expected to increase, earning from $10.75 to $16 per hour for an average annual salary of $22,300 to $33,300. Whether you want to transfer to a four-year college or university program or prepare for immediate entry-level employment in the field, we can help.

When “times are good” or when “times are bad” business managers/owners need to know what the numbers are and how to interpret them. That is why there are always jobs in accounting. According to the latest surveys, there will not be enough accountants to fill the available job openings in the next decade.

Want to work independently or as part of a team? Live in a small town or a big city? Would you prefer to work part-time of all the time? Do you like wearing blue jeans or a suit? Whatever your choices for a career, an accounting degree can lead you anywhere you want to go. You have the option to work for small businesses, major companies, trade establishments, manufacturing firms, banks, real estate agencies and accounting firms, to name a few.

The Accounting Program offers three levels of documented achievement: The Associate Degree of Applied Sciences (AAS), the Accounting Assistant Certificate, and the Accounting Clerk Certificate.
