Texas Mortgage Bankers Scholarship

Find your career ... We are here to help.

There are many job options in the mortgage lending industry that can help you establish a career. In Mortgage Banking, jobs involve making, selling and servicing mortgages secured by residential, multifamily and commercial real estate.

According to the National Mortgage Broker Association of America, 60% of all mortgage bankers are in the top 25% income bracket in the U.S., making $80,000 or more a year. Whether you are new to the lending industry or an experienced professional, if you want to succeed in the business of mortgage banking, North Lake College offers you the right training.

North Lake College is the only accredited educational institution in the United States to offer a standalone associates degree in Mortgage Banking. The program was the result of requests from the industry leaders to provide specialized education for entry and higher-level positions in the mortgage-lending field.

Degree Plans

The Mortgage Banking Program offers three levels of documented achievement: The Associate Degree of Applied Sciences (AAS), the Designate Certificate, and the Skills Achievement Award. The Skills Achievement Award provides the skills and knowledge to obtain an entry-level position; the Certificate signifies a higher level of learning; and the Associate Degree denotes the completion of in-depth training.
