Careers in Construction Management

With input from contractors and professional industry organizations, North Lake College has developed a curriculum that will provide you a broad knowledge of building systems and construction techniques. You will learn essential management principles and develop supervisory skills and competence to prepare them for careers in either the private of public sectors of construction.

North Lake's program is fully accredited by the American Council for Construction Education(ACCE), the only recognized construction education accreditation agency in the United States. The Construction Management program at North Lake is only one of eight accredited community college programs in the country.

North Lake College, the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE), and CEF are partners in providing educational excellence to prepare future leaders for the construction industry.

The founders of the CFE include The Association Builders and Contractors of North Texas; Associated General Contractors of Dallas and Ft. Worth; and the American Subcontractors Association of North Texas. Today CEF represents more than 1500 construction companies in North Texas Area.
