Published each summer, North Lake College's award-winning magazine of creative expression,
Duck Soup, is comprised of
student generated literary and artistic works.
Duck Soup continually wins Sweepstakes at the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association annual convention and persistently delights readers from all walks of life.
Students are given the opportunity to submit their work during the spring, summer, and fall semesters; however, they must be registered students at the time of submission.
Submission forms are available online, in the Liberal Arts Teaching and Learning Center Office (A-235), on a bulletin board outside A-246, in the journalism lab (A-260) or in Dr. Bodily’s office (A301). One submission form must be submitted for each entry. No maximum limits.

Submit a submission form with a paper copy of your manuscript OR a color copy/printout/photo of your art to Dr. Brett H. Bodily in A301 or The Liberal Arts Teaching & Learning Center in A-235. If you are submitting literature, please also send an electronic copy of your manuscript in Microsoft Word format to bbodily@dcccd.edu.
