North Lake now serves as a satellite campus for El Centro College’s Nursing Associate Degree Program.
Students can take courses on the North Lake campus, but at the end of two years they will receive a nursing degree from El Centro.
Students must complete fifteen hours of college courses prior to admission into the program. The required courses include SCIT 1407 Human Anatomy & Physiology I OR BIOL 2401 Anatomy & Physiology I; ENGL 1301 Composition I; MATH 1314 College Algebra; PSYC 2301 Introduction to Psychology; HPRS 1204 Basic Health Professions Skills I. In addition to course work, students perform clinical work at area hospitals.
