Applying to North Lake

International students who plan to attend North Lake College on an F1 visa must submit the following documents before beginning coursework for an associate’s degree. Your application will only be reviewed after all documents are received, so submit a completed packet for faster processing.
The application review process takes about two weeks to complete. We may ask for additional information as part of the process. After your documents have been reviewed, you will be contacted with an admission decision. Notification will be sent to the email address you provide on your application form. A complete application does not guarantee admission to the college.
All documents submitted become the property of North Lake College. Please make or keep for your personal records before sending documents to NLC.

First, please look over our application requirements (PDF). Use this info sheet as a checklist while you apply to North Lake.
These are the forms we require:

The I-134 Affidavit of Support is only for U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents who wish to sponsor financially an international student needing or in the U.S. on an F1 visa to attend NLC. Please visit the USCIS website for details.
Some students are required to have a meningitis vaccine before taking their first class at North Lake. Read our meningitis vaccine policy to find out if this applies to you.
* F1 Transfers refers to international students who are already in the United States on an F1 visa attending another U.S. institution seeking to transfer their F1 status from that school to North Lake College.
