Financial Aid
  1. Request your personal PIN number at www.pin.ed.gov.

  2. Complete your Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov with North Lake College school code: 014036.

  3. Use online FAFSA4caster at www.fafsa4caster.ed.gov to begin exploring your financial aid options and get an early start on the financial aid process.


Loan counseling sessions are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. in C-203 and 5:30 p.m. in T-245 on the following dates:

Tuesday, January 26
Wednesday, February 3
Tuesday, February 9
Wednesday, February 17
Tuesday, February 23
Tuesday, March 2

If you need help paying for college, many funding sources are available, including grants, scholarships, work-study programs and student loans. The Financial Aid Office staff can help you complete required forms, explain eligibility requirements and provide deadlines for application.

If these deadlines are missed, the student will be expected to make payment arrangements with the Cashier's Office using personal resources at the time of registration (a payment plan is available).

Enrolling in CE courses?
Ask about Texas Public Education Grants, TPEGs. Tuition only grants of up to $500 are available to individuals who take career or occupation-related courses.
