Located on the northeast corner of Shady Grove and MacArthur, the North Lake College South Campus is a 33,000 square foot facility designed to provide a center for educational attainment that meets the economic and workforce needs of the community. Classrooms are equipped with “smart classroom” technology and the entire campus supports wireless connectivity. A common room is also available for the use of community and civic organizations.
At the South Campus students will be able to:
- Pursue a two-year Associate Degree
- Take freshman and sophomore academic transfer courses to pursue a baccalaureate degree
- Attain certification for career programs
- Take part in career, enrichment and cultural programs for credit and non-credit
The South Campus also provides comprehensive student support services that include academic and career advising, registration, payment and financial aid services. Students will have access to library resources and computers.
In addition, the South Campus offers many specialized programs to meet community needs:
- Business Office Support Specialist (BOSS Program)
- Entrepreneur Center
- GED Institute
- Spanish for Spanish Speaking Professionals
- Teacher Academy
- Workforce English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
