Grants/Financial Aid
Money is available for those who qualify. Three different types of financial aid exist:

  • Texas Public Education Grants (TPEG) up to $500 per semester
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Veterans Affairs (VA) Educational Benefits

Refund Policy

  • A full (100%) refund will be given if a CE course is dropped by the close of business, on the last business day, preceding the day of the first scheduled class meeting.
  • A refund of 80% is allowed if course is dropped before the close of business on the day of the second class meeting.
  • No refund is available after the second class meeting.

Requests for refund petitions should be made directly to the Cashier’s Office. Please allow 30 days for refund to be processed. Requests for refunds are not accepted after the end of the quarter for which the refund is sought.

If a CE course is canceled due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, every effort is made to contact students before the start of class. If the class is cancelled, the student receives an automatic 100% refund at the time of cancellation.
