Kid's Summer Camp

Next summer, spend two fun weeks at North Lake College’s Kid’s Sum­mer Camp, a place where you can make new friends and create lasting memories. Ac­tivities are designed to promote opportunities for exploration, creative expression and fun.

A daily afternoon snack will be provided for all registered participants. Camp is for ages 6 to 12 years old; Grades 1-6 (Must be 6 years old at the time of registration). Parents are required to attend a camp orientation meeting prior to the first day of camp.

Registration for this camp is for the entire two weeks. One week registrations will not be accepted.

Fun/Wacky Sports & Games
Have you ever played baseball with badminton equipment? Learn coop­eration and teamwork while playing innovative and creative games. Play a variety of games from board games to traditional games with an altered twist. This is a fun way to exercise! Make sure you wear tennis shoes with socks and bring a water bottle.

So, you want your own website?
Learn to create and maintain your personal Web page. The basics of computer usage, word processing, backgrounds, texts, graphics, links and more will be taught to students. This course includes informa­tive, fun, interactive activities and at the end of the class you can show your family and friends your web­site. Please bring a flash drive to this class.

Computer Games
Do you like playing games on the computer? Play exciting games and puzzles on the computer! Each game or puzzle will challenge the most advanced computer game player. See how much fun you can have playing games while improv­ing your strategy skills.

Tricks with Math!
Come review math in a fun way. This course uses games and activi­ties to help students learn and make problem solving fun. Students learn basic math skills and quick tricks in a fun and highly energized environment.

Crazy/Fun with Science
Do you like collecting insects? Do you want to make slime? Learn about the world around you and explore science through fun hands-on experiments. Experiments involve biology, chemistry and physics and include both indoors

Awesome Art Projects

Learn strategies that artists use. Students utilize their creativity and imagination to complete a number of art projects. This class explores various art media with hands-on drawing, painting and other exciting projects.

Must be 6 years old at the time of registration.
