Computer Facilities and Online Databases
North Lake College Library Computer Facilities Library users have access to the library's numerous online resources:
  • DCCCD catalogs
  • Subscription databases
  • Internet
Computer Access
Is available to currently enrolled North Lake students, faculty, and staff. Please be prepared to provide a current NLC identification card if requested by the library staff.

Microsoft Office Applications
Are available in the Student Resource Center (K307).
For additional writing/citation help contact the Writing Center (A309).

Printing is Available Through the Pay-for-Print System
  • Pay-For-Print account is created by the Circulation Staff using student ID number and a PIN number.


  • Students add money and access their account using their ID and PIN number.


  • Money can be added to their account at any time using only paper money. (A Value Station is located in L214 - Copy Center).


  • The cost of black-and-white printing is 5 cents per copy. (Printing is picked up at the Print Release Station located next to the Reference Desk.)


Remote Computer Access
Remote access is available to all for the DCCCD catalogs. Remote access to databases is available to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff with their student name and the NLC identification number. (INFOTRAC is available to currently enrolled NORTH LAKE students, faculty, and staff with a password, obtained from the Reference Staff.)
