Course reserves are a collection of textbooks, study guides and other materials that are required by some professors for their classes. These items are placed in a controlled access area and given short loan periods to make them accessible to as many students as possible.
Borrowing privileges are available to North Lake College students, faculty and staff. Student or Employee ID card is required for all transactions.
Computer access, printing, and photocopying are available only to currently enrolled DCCCD students, faculty and staff. Student or employee ID number is required to log into computers and to use the printing system, Pharos.
Professional librarians assist North Lake College students, faculty, and staff with library introduction sessions, individualized consultations and/or course specific library instruction classes.
All rooms are provided for the benefit of currently enrolled North Lake College students, faculty and staff. No reservation is required for study rooms.
An interlibrary or intercollege loan is a transaction in which library material, or a copy of the material, is made available by one library to another upon request.
