General Library Instruction
Library Tour & Online Catalog: introduction to library services and search strategies to find materials using the Online Catalog. Registration is not required. Meets in Central Campus, room L-236.
Databases & Electronic Resources: overview of Online Databases and search strategies to find and evaluate journal articles, eBooks, and Web sites. Registration is not required. Meets in Central Campus, room L-236.
Career Readiness Classes: introduction to library services
and resources with a focus on careers. Learn how to easily find information on job opportunities, interviewing techniques, resumes, schools and majors, job markets, and more. Meets in Central Campus, room L-236. Registration required.

Course Specific Library Instruction
North Lake College faculty interested in library instruction specific to a class assignment or topic can contact the Reference desk to schedule a class with the Instruction Librarian. Library instruction classes are available at any campus for morning or afternoon sessions. Requests should be made in advance to allow for instruction room reservation and class materials preparation.
