The purpose of the North Lake Library is to provide a place, and an opportunity, for members of the college community to read, study and use the various materials that the library maintains.
To help ensure that this opportunity and this atmosphere are available to all its patrons, the Library has adopted the following rules of conduct. Student IDs are required for all library services and can be obtained in room L-240.
- Food and drink are not permitted inside the library.
- Please speak quietly when inside the library.
- Do not loiter in or around the library.
- Children are not allowed inside the library.
Patrons who fail to comply with these rules will be asked to leave the Library.
Borrowing from the Library Your student ID serves as your library card for borrowing materials and for access to all library services. Due dates are printed on the paper receipt issued at the time of checkout. You can also review your record online.
Interlibrary Loan Requests
An interlibrary/intercampus loan is a transaction in which library material, or a copy of the material, is made available by one library to another upon request. The purpose of interlibrary and intercampus loans is to expand the range of materials available to library users.
