Soccer
coach's experiences help his players to succeed
It has been an exciting journey from the 1968 Olympics
to coaching the 1998 Hungary World Cup team and then
to the fields of North Lake College. Coach James Benedek
is embarking upon a mission to build another nationally

Benedek's men's team, a club team, is 5 wins, 4 losses

and at 3 p.m. Nov. 2 at Brookhaven College.
The women's team, which became a varsity team first
because of Title IX funding, has a 5-win, 7-loss, 2-tie
record this year. At press time, a final game with Richland
College on Oct. 25 was yet to be played. More...
