Facilities director says $2.1 million project one of the smoothest of his career

This week, after a little more than a year of demolition and construction, the newly refurbished and expanded student services facilities in A-400 will open for use.

“I’m very excited,” said John Watson, director of facilities for the college. “This has turned into one of the smoothest projects of my career.”

Signage will aid NLC police, students and city

At the end of the day, do you remember where you parked your car? Was it off Roadway D or Roadway E?

Most students are probably more concerned with finding that perfect spot, or more importantly not being late for class. Probably most students don't even know that North Lake College has street signs on its property.

Student remembered for her kindness and courage

Jennifer Sanchez's death leaves family, friends and fellow students coping with a loss that shouldn't have happened

Classy, courteous and courageous are just a few of the characteristics students and faculty will remember about Jennifer M. Sanchez. She left behind a legacy through examples of hard work and determination.

A new year filled with resolutions and dreams to pursue was cut short for the Grand Prairie sophomore on Jan. 3, when she was struck by a fleeing customer at an Irving Bennigan’s.
