floor now open and serving students
Facilities director says $2.1 million project
one of the smoothest of his career
This week, after a little more
than a year of demolition and construction, the newly
refurbished and expanded student services facilities
in A-400 will open for use.
“I’m very excited,” said John Watson,
director of facilities for the college. “This
has turned into one of the smoothest projects of my
career.”

how many times have you seen or read those words walking
down the campus hallways? Maybe a couple times you even
stopped and took a closer look.

Most students are probably more concerned with finding
that perfect spot, or more importantly not being late

Jennifer Sanchez's death
leaves family, friends and fellow students coping with
a loss that shouldn't have happened
Classy, courteous and courageous are just a few of
the characteristics students and faculty will remember
about Jennifer M. Sanchez. She left behind a legacy
through examples of hard work and determination.
A new year filled with resolutions and dreams to pursue
was cut short for the Grand Prairie sophomore on Jan.
