Duck Soup Sweeps again

The Texas Intercollegiate Press Association held its annual convention in Corpus Christi from April 3-5. Duck Soup, North Lake College’s literary magazine, won the Sweepstakes Award for the third consecutive year.

Advised by Dr. D’Ann Madewell, the magazine receives submissions of essays, poems, short stories, photos, and illustrations.

Other than the Sweepstakes, Duck Soup and the News-Register won the following awards:
