District stops mailing grades

Anxious to see how you did this semester? Don’t wait by the mailbox. Beginning this fall, the Dallas County Community College District will no longer mail out grades at the conclusion of each semester. Arkansas native puts skating first in move to Metroplex

Jay Lilly, a first-year North Lake student, placed seventh in the Southwestern Regional Figure Skating Championships the week of Oct. 19 in Colorado Springs, Colo. Lilly, a native of Lonoke, Ark., competed in the Novice Dance division with partner Stephanie Segien. Lilly, who began skating at the age of three, is experienced in all fields of skating.
