Blazing into first
Basketball is king again at North Lake College.
The Men's Blazer Basketball Team moved into first
place last weekend in the Metro Athletic Conference
when they defeated Richland College 96-92 in an
overtime thriller.
They followed that up with another overtime win
on Wednesday, Feb. 18, beating Cedar Valley 84-81
to keep their hold on first place. This season,
the team played eight non-conference games against
nationally ranked Division I teams.
The Metro Athletic Conference Tournament will
be held Feb. 25-27. The winner will advance to
the NJCAA Division III National Tournament, held
March 11-13 in Delhi, NY. |

Blazers Update
The NLC Blazers lost to Eastfield College
on Monday night finishing an incredible season.
North Lake College did win the regular season
championship of the Metro Athletic Conference
(MAC). Congratulations to the team for their
