Having trouble finding a parking space? You’re in good company. It’s the #1 complaint among new students, and there’s a good reason. Enrollment at North Lake College is up 10 percent from last year at this time. Currently, 8,581 students are registered compared to 7,628 in spring 2004.

The Rodney Jackson Band preformed in the Gallery on Monday, Jan. 24, at 12:30 p.m. The band members include Rodney Jackson (left) as vocalist, Logan Swift (right) on guitar, and Gerando Romirez (not pictured) on drums. The band was formed this semester. The performance was sponsored by Karen Moyer and the North Lake music department.

North Lake Police officers, Terrance Hunter and Octavio Aguirre, took advantage of Friday’s Winter Wonderland Party to meet the new students of the spring semester.
