Outdoor campus ideal setting for biology class

Imagine the beautiful mountain valley of Pingree Park, Colo., as your classroom.

Located in the Northern Colorado Rocky Mountains 50 miles west of Fort Collins, the North Lake College campus at Pingree Park offers two field courses during Summer I, 2005.

Taught by instructor Kent Reppond, the field courses will take place June 18-26. A special assessment fee of $495 covers the cost of food and lodging while traveling, and food and lodging while at Pingree Park.

Biology 1411, a four-credit lab science course will be taught, along with a non-credit, Continuing Education class, Physical Education 1015.

Orientation is mandatory on June 5 at 1 p.m., on NLC’s campus. On-campus lectures for biology will take place June 6-10 at noon each day.
