Stay cool in the pool

Summer has officially checked in and the long, hot summer days are just beginning. The North Lake Aquatic Center is open seven days a week for everyone to come beat the heat. Students and staff get in free of charge with a college I.D. Regular admission is $1.50 for adults and $1 for children between the ages 4-17. Children under three get in free.

1 p.m. - 6 p.m.

There is also a variety of swim classes offered through North Lake’s Continuing Education program. The City of Irving also offers multi-leveled swim lessons, water aerobics, synchronized swimming and toddler classes. Stop by the natatorium for more information, or call 972-273-3531.

The natatorium is currently closed for yearly maintenance and upgrades. Reopening for normal operation is planned for Monday, August 29th.
