NLC’s 2005 Students Spotlight Show
will be on display through Sept. 13
Each fall semester the art faculty of North Lake
College selects several outstanding art students
for an exhibition of their work in the Gallery.
This year eight students were nominated and chosen
to be in the 2005 Student Spotlight Show.
Along with putting up the exhibition, the students
enroll in a special seminar class where they learn
how to design their announcement for the show
and how to present their artwork.
The class discussed the different ways to write
artist statements and resumes. The group also
curated the artwork that went into the exhibit.
The eight students in the show are as diverse
