Lake Takes
The N-R’s opinion on recent campus
happenings. THUMBS
DOWN to the missing Scantrons.
Having a testing center that stays open late is
convenient to students. What isn’t convenient
is not having a Scantron to take your test.
This dilemma could easily be solved with a Scantron
machine. Other colleges have them, why can’t
we?
THUMBS
UP to extended parking.
Parking will be made easier this fall thanks to
423 new spots available. Starting Aug. 29 the
south lot will open for students’ use. See
article on page one for more information.
THUMBS
DOWN to sticky fingers.
Be careful where you leave your belongings. It
has been reported that North Lake has some bandits
on campus.
Security is aware, but these sly guys know what
they are doing. So next time you have to leave
the class to use the restroom, think twice before
leaving your high priced-books behind.
THUMBS
UP to beautiful landscaping accessorized with
random hanging tree art.
Contractors have been hard at work to make this
place look good and apparently so has a North
Lake artist. If you are curious to know where
this art can be found, head out to the Courtyard
or see the picture below.
