Four flicks for fall

At last! Here comes a change of scenery
for film fans. It seems as if somebody picked up
2005 by the legs and shook all the good movies out
into the holiday season. What follows is a short
list of mainstream releases with wide variety. If
you can’t see them all, we’ll give you
a few tips to choose wisely.

stars Steve Martin, Claire Danes and Jason
Shwartzman in a story about life, love —
and how to make the two work together. Adapted
from Martin ‘s novel of the same name,
it ‘s a poignant and bittersweet portrayal
of love and emotional desire. |

THE WEATHERMAN
proves that Chicago weather is never boring.
Nicholas Cage plays David Spritz, a weatherman
who is loved and hated by viewers. Spritz
gets a shot at big league TV, and must learn
to balance his thriving professional life
and a dismal personal life. |

GET RICH OR DIE
TRYIN’ brings us Curtis “50-Cent”
Jackson who portrays a young man attempting
to transcend a life of crime and make it
in the music business. This is a part “Fiddy”
is well prepared to play. Catch his debut
in Paramount‘s Get Rich or Die Tryin’. |

provides what every holiday needs —
a good comedy. Ryan Reynolds plays Chris
