Phi Theta Kappans twist the day away

North Lake’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Zeta Eta, hosted the Texas Jubilee Saturday, Nov. 19, in a 1950s style motif. A checkerboard dance floor was set up for the afternoon sock-hop and guest singer Raul Sanchez Jr. provided entertainment. Cars, poodle skirts and leather jackets were common sights among the attendees. All proceeds raised from the event go to the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event, which also takes place at North Lake in the spring.
