that used to be free. So where is the money going,

Last August, North Lake
College instituted a new
policy in the Student
Resource Center (K-
307) that requires students to pay
five cents for each page they print
or copy they make. After seven
months, the effectiveness of the

a thing of the past
Petition to keep hardy trees not enough
to
save them from being uprooted
North Lake's campus used to be
a ranch with sprawling mesquite
trees and thousands of cattle grazing
the hills. Today, the mesquites
remain all over Texas, but the honey
mesquites on North Lake's property
are being destroyed to make
