At North Lake College, we value our commitment to excellence in teaching
and learning. We are so glad that you have chosen North Lake College
as part of your higher education experience.
Beginning this week, students in randomly selected classes at
NLC and over 100 other community colleges across the nation will have
the chance to share their views by completing The Community College Student
Report.
The survey generally takes approximately 30-35 minutes to complete.
Questions focus on how students spend their time, the nature and quality
of students’ interactions
with faculty members and peers, and what students have gained from their
classes and other aspects of their college experience.
As a student at North Lake College, you may be selected to join other
students in your class as well as students from across the country in
responding to the survey. I encourage you to participate by responding
candidly to the survey.
Your individual responses will remain confidential, but the results of
this national survey will be important in helping North Lake College
to examine our educational practices and identify ways that we can improve
programs and services for students.
