Movies That Go
Bump In The Night

Hollywood has launched three
of its biggest horror sequels:
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:
The Beginning, The
Grudge 2 and Saw 3.
New Line Cinema's The Texas
Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning is
a prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
released in 2003.
Set in 1969, “The Beginning” depicts
four characters who go to Texas
for fun but end up with something entirely
different.
It may not have the same horrific
impact on audiences as the original,
but the movie is just as spooky.
If The Texas Chainsaw Massacre:
The Beginning disappoints you, then
you could try Grudge 2. Sam Raimi
and Columbia Pictures bring forth director
Takashi Shimizu's sequel to his
much-acclaimed The Grudge, starring
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Amber
Tamblyn.
Grudge 2 is set in the same house
where it all began, but the story takes
a new direction, as some unrelated
characters are tormented by the curse
from its prequel. It also reveals how the
curse actually started.
The distinct sight and sound of Kayako
and Toshio, especially the eyes,
will remain in your thoughts after you
leave the theater. Be prepared to get
shaken.
Twisted Pictures and Lions Gate
open Saw III on Oct. 27.
The Jigsaw, Tobin Smith, is back,
joined by his new trainee Amanda,
played by Shawnee Smith.
Director Darren Lynn Bousman
comes up with another game of hideand-
seek. His only intention is to horrify
the horror seekers.
If you are looking for a dark and
scary night this Halloween, it is definitely your month for a visit to movie
theaters.
