Students can air concerns
Listening Boxes, conversations
a
few ways to be heard
By Amanda K. Witt

If students, faculty or staff have
a problem, complaint, concern
or compliment about the college,
there are several ways for them to
be heard.
Listening Boxes are located
across campus to take anonymous
suggestions, and a program called
Campus Conversations puts the student
in a one-on-one environment
with members of the President's
Team.
The Listening Boxes are located
in the Welcome Center, cafeteria,
SPAR office, T-Building foyer
and the C-Building foyer, and are
monitored by North Lake's administration.
Questions, suggestions,
and observations are
forwarded to the appropriate
administrator for an answer.
And each answer is
posted on the college's Web
page.
The most recent Listening
Box concerns were
removed Dec.
18 and can be
viewed at www.northlakecollege.edu/about/listeningbox.html.
Campus Conversations
begins
Feb. 1 outside the
cafeteria at 2:30 p.m., with
North Lake President, Dr. Herlinda
Glasscock.
Others in February
include Paul Kelemen at
10 a.m., on Wednesday,
Feb. 7; Candace Castillo
at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday,
Feb. 15; and Rene
Castilla at 10 a.m. on
Wednesday, Feb. 21.
All Campus Conversations
are held at
a table in front of the
lunchroom, down from
the bookstore.
