Bus Stop pulls up to NLC

William Inge’s comedy has colorful characters

North Lake Theatre Company will present Bus Stop, March 6 - 9 in the college's Performance Hall.

The play involves a group of weary travelers who get trapped in the middle of the night at a bus stop in a small Kansas town during a blizzard.

The comedy, set in the 1950s, begins to unfold when the audience is introduced to a cute saloon singer who has been kidnapped by a naive cowboy who is taking her back to his ranch in Montana to marry her against her will.

Some of the characters in this play have questionable histories, questionable motives, and questionable approaches to problem solving. This action-packed play includes “fightin', drinkin' and entertainin'.”

Curtain time is 8 p.m., and all performances are free.
