The International
Center sponsored a
Mardi Gras Mask
Making event on
Feb. 20 (known as Fat Tuesday,
Mardi Gras Day or Shrove
Day) in front of A-206.
The purpose, according to
John Drezek of the International
Center, was to “help students
release stress, bring out
their creative talents, and expose
them to a cultural events
they may not have heard of before.”
In New Orleans, the day is
celebrated with festivities and
parades. |
