Bulletin boards removed

4-sided, corked kiosks used to post ads dismantled and tossed

The President’s Team approved a suggestion by Marketing and Public Information (PI) to discard the old four-sided bulletin boards, which were in a state of disrepair. Instead, all student postings will go to SPAR and all career/job postings will go to Career Services.

Marketing and PI will not be responsible for stamping any postings for approval, which will be handled by SPAR and Career Services.

The bulletin boards were located on the third fl oor, A-400 by the stairs; second fl oor, A-building by the elevator; by the cafeteria, in front of the outside doors; and A-200, by the Language Lab.

Students will still be able to post their materials through the SPAR office, A-223.

For more information, call Candace Castillo at 3015.

No more postings for used cars, furniture, books or roommates on these corked boards. North Lake’s marketing department decided the four-sided bulletin boards had seen their last day on campus and they were tossed in the dumpster.
