Third Spider-Man installment best one yet

In short, Sam Raimi’s (Evil
Dead, Spider-Man) Spider-Man
3 is, without a doubt, the best in
the series so far.
It feels more like the sequel to
Raimi’s film, with the plot itself coming
directly from the first movie.
From the first five minute to the last
minutes, the action doesn’t let up and
keeps it fresh.
The movie starts off between the
fight that fans were hinted at during
the end of the frst film.
But that fight ends quickly, and
we’re eventually introduced to the
new characters of the movie. Topher
Grace (“That 70’s Show”) plays Eddie
Brock, who plays Peter Parker’s
nemesis, always trying to find a way
to show up Parker.
]Along with Grace, there’s Thomas
Haden Church (Tombstone) as Flint
Marko, a convict who escapes from
Riker’s Island, who wanders into a
lab experiment, which bonds his cells
into sand and becomes the Sandman.
Yes, Bruce Campbell does make
a cameo like he has in the last two
movies and he’s just as funny
This is definitely the darkest of
the movies; most of the story revolves
around Peter’s struggle with
an alien symbiote, which bonds to
his suit and gives him the black
suit.
Peter struggles to get rid of the
symbiote, and if you’re familiar with
the comic book, you already know
what is going to happen because it
stays true to the book.
The whole movie builds up to
the last 45 minutes of the movie,
which delivers a remarkable climax.
However, with some scenes in
the movie that are more or less
forgettable, the overwhelming
amount of action and the way the
story plays through the end more
than makes up for it.
For those worried that the third
installment would be unbelievably
horrible ... yeah, like X-Men 3.. fear
not – Spider-Man 3 delivers on every
count.
With rumors of a fourth, fifth and
even a sixth movie, it’s hard to see
what direction the series will go from
here.
However, you can be sure that
Raimi knows what he’s doing and
that it will be just as great as this third
film |
