Voice, music, special guests entertain crowd

North Lake College music student Tameika Beasley, shown with her sons David and Donovan, performed in the Piano Ensemble, which opened the Spring Choir Concert.
The North Lake College Singers, conducted by Allan Andrews, performed in Spring Choir Concert April 22 in the Performance Hall.
Special guests were the NLC Piano Ensemble, which featured 10 pianos and performers on stage, Gustavo Tolosa, director, and the Grand Prairie High School Acappella Choir, directed by Amy Francis.
The North Lake Singers performed music by Thomas Morley, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, and a rousing Gospel number, “The Storm Is Passing Over,” arranged by Barbara Baker.
