200 pieces of art work on display in Gallery
Annual Student Art Exhibition runs until May 5; awards announced at April 23 reception

The 2008 Student Art Exhibition currently on display in the Gallery is composed of over 200 artworks in many media. The juror for the show was Kristin Byars, a painter who resides and works in Dallas. At a reception and award ceremony April 23, the following students and their art were acknowledged:

2008 Student Spotlight Exhibition (selected by the Art Faculty) The students listed below will be honored with a special exhibition in the Gallery this fall.

They have been chosen based on artistic achievement, body of work, and positive work ethic. They will work together in the summer to produce all aspects of the exhibition. They are: Wanda Burton, Chuck Burton, Trish Lambert, Shawn Camel, Cindy Chin and Prajesh Shrestha.
