Emergency Call Boxes
Emergency call boxes are located throughout the campus building interiors. They can be found on wall stations in hallways and in all elevators. The interior call boxes are white in color with a red sign above them. Call boxes are activated by pressing a button - to speak to a police dispatcher - and releasing the button to listen. When the police dispatcher responds, state the nature of your emergency or need for police assistance. Call boxes are monitored and answered by Central (police) Dispatch 24 hours a day. If you need police assistance in the campus parking lots, dial 972.860.4290 from your cell phone.
