SRC Rules

Cell phones must be turned off or in vibrate only mode.

Food and drink are not allowed.

Children under 16 years of age are not allowed.

During peak computer times of the day, non-academic use of computers is discouraged if students are waiting to use computers.

You may be asked to leave if you do not comply with the rules.
The North Lake College Student Resource Center provides student access to current technology including computers, software, email and internet. Teacher reserves and reference textbooks may be checked out for review. A student ID is required for using the Student Resource Center and may be obtained in L-240.
  • Software: Windows XP (some with CD Burners), Internet Explorer 8 & Firefox 3, Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010, and Read on
  • Media: Telecourse CDs/DVDs (semester checkout), movies on DVD (2-3 day checkout), media on VHS/DVD (available only to instructors)
  • Equipment: VCR/DVD Players, FAX machine, photocopy machines, scanner

Computer Printing and Photocopies

Computer printing and photocopies may be made for 10¢ per page. Color printing is available at the desk for 50¢ per page. Both computer pay-per-print and photocopying require the creation of a "copy account" with a $1.00 minimum balance. Machines will accept bills only – NO coins.

Tutoring & Assistance

One-on-one help is available to any student requesting assistance. Tutoring is available for several courses.

Other Services

Student IDs & Parking Decals are both issued in the Student Resource Center.
