In Course Success – Developmental

In course success for developmental courses is the completion of a course with a grade of A, B, or C in courses that develop prerequisite skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Success rates of developmental face-to-face courses are compared to a benchmark established by the National Community College Benchmark Program. The success rates for face to face courses were below the benchmark of 60% for Fall 2014 through Fall 2017, but rates have steadily increased since Fall 2014. For Fall 2017, the rate was 2% below the benchmark.
