Workforce Development

North Lake continued to work with members of the area’s business and industry to define and explore job-training options for the citizens of Irving and the surrounding area. Plans were in the design phase for enlarging the South Irving Center to become more of a workforce development center, which would help promote economic development in Irving. Cost-effective training that meets the job needs and the educational needs of our diverse community was the goal of the college.
