Registering for Credit Classes

If you are eligible, you can register online through eConnect. (View online registration requirements.)

Note: Due to COVID-19, "in-person registration" will take place remotely. View contact information on our COVID-19 site.

Check our class schedules to see the credit courses offered for the upcoming term.

Registration Dates

May Term/Summer/Fall registration begins in April:

  • Tuesday, April 21: Priority registration starts (for returning students).
  • Monday, April 27: Regular registration begins (for all students).
  • Wednesday, Aug. 19: Last day to register for Fall (for 16-week classes)

Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination

You may need to provide proof of meningitis vaccination to register.

No Late Registration

Students cannot register late for regular semester-length credit classes. (The last day of registration varies by semester.) Be sure to register early to get the first choice of classes and class times!

Stop Before You Drop

Under Texas law (TEC Section 51.907), if you drop too many classes without having an acceptable reason, your GPA could be affected. Be sure you understand how this law may affect you before you drop a class.

This law applies to students who enroll in a Texas public institution of higher education (including North Lake College) for the first time in fall 2007 or later. Under this law, you may not drop more than six classes without an acceptable reason during your entire undergraduate career without penalty. For more information, please see our catalog or read Facts About Dropping Classes.
