Food Pantry

North Lake College's Blazer Student Store holds a large collection of non-perishable food items, including canned foods. Items in the store are donated by students, staff, faculty, and community members, and students can shop for food at the Student Store free of charge.

Visit the Blazer Student Store's food pantry on Central Campus in room A223. View hours and contact information.

Transactions in the store are in Blazer Bucks, and the store does not accept official currencies, checks, or credit cards.

Students may receive Blazer Bucks in four ways:

  • From an instructor for good classwork
  • By trading non-perishable food and clothing donations (only 10 at a time)
  • Requesting bucks, at no charge, from Student Life or Counseling Services. This option is available to students experiencing a personal or economic hardship
  • By purchasing the bucks for $1 each at the Cashier's Office
